Service Interval Guidance

Oil and gas filtration intervals and material requirements must be validated against the actual process, gas and fluid chemistry, pressure, temperature, contamination source, equipment specification and safety requirements.

03 /

Process and Environmental Contamination

Oil and gas equipment can encounter drilling solids, airborne dust, produced fluids and corrosive or chemically aggressive service. Filter media, seals and housings must be selected from the actual process chemistry and equipment specification; no single elastomer or cleanliness class should be treated as universally required across the industry.

04 /

Instrument and Compressed Air

Instrument-air quality requirements depend on the pneumatic equipment and process. ISO 8573-1 provides a classification framework, but the required class must come from the specific application and equipment requirement rather than a single industry-wide default.
