- Open the air-filter housing using the vehicle-specific service method.
- Remove the used element without introducing loose debris into the clean side of the intake.
- Inspect and clean the housing sealing area as appropriate.
- Install the validated replacement in the correct orientation and ensure the housing is fully sealed before operation.
